I have been lucky to explore some of the most remote, untouched fisheries on earth. Gear makes the difference between a safe, successful trip and total disaster. It allows me to stay on the water even when conditions are bad. All of my gear is hand selected and hopefully will help you succeed on the water!

Derek was born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and raised in Bigfork, Montana. At the age of 3 he would stand on the dock for hours fishing for perch and sunfish. His passion for fishing has been a lifelong pursuit. Exploring new places to fish and sharing what he has learned is what drives Derek.
